If you have used Shopify and are frustrated with it, Populate might be the answer for you. Shopify is a great tool and we will never be able to match the amount of plugins and themes, but its big limitation is that it really is a one size fits all approach. They have a huge catalogue of payment gateways and integrations with one system or another but if you want something slightly out of the ordinary it can be very difficult and very expensive to implement.
